Best food in town

My wife and I were camping in the area and found the Corner Grill to be a great local restaurant with friendly service, delicious food, and reasonable prices. The New York strip and ribeye steak dinners were on the lunch special on both days we visited. So, I tried the ribeye steak with onion pedals. It was very well cooked, tender and tasty. We came back a couple of days later for the breakfast ... the Big Boy was about $6 for two eggs, bacon, grits, and biscuits & gravy. Corner Grill is highly recommended ... seems to be a local favorite also!

Decent quick bite. Ample parking. No one in the restaurant was wearing a mask, including staff. I understand you can't eat with a mask on. That's for customers. The staff, who work with not only the public but their food in close quarters, should have masks on at all times during a global pandemic. Decent service otherwise.

There's very few eating places where people can get great food, service, and low prices. The food here is better than most places that are priced twice the price. And it comes to your table "hot" and generous portions! Love it!

Quick snack after hike. Seated as soon as we entered. Order taken as soon as we were ready. Burgers an Dogs with Fries. Hot and delicious. Servers were excellent and friendly. Prices were unbelievably low. There is a full menu, Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. Clean dining room and restroom. A great family place to dine. I will return!

Cheap food fast. Some of the staff are good and some are not. Nothing fancy here.

Country "diner" experience. I had the tuna salad plate. It was delicious! Try a slice of their cake! German Chocolate on the day I visited! Yum! Large portions, fair priced.

Maybe 6 customers in restaurant, and took 20 minutes to get accnologed. Only 1 waitress and one cook working. She was too busy talking.

This place has great breakfast at a very reasonable price and for someone who grew up eating and loves, livermush, this is the ONLY place I've found so far in Asheville that actually serves it! We will be back and look forward trying there burgers soon!

Some of the best local food in this area. New York Strip Steak, salad and baked potato for only $7.95. Puts Outback to shame.

Usually I would give a 5 star but they changed the french fries instead of the good fresh cut fries they started serving the frozen junk fries and they changed the Ice cream too I never had yellow vanilla ice cream before it was full of ice crystals and the Hamburger did not taste as good as usual they might have gone with a cheaper grade of Hamburger we have been going here a couple of times a month but if they are going to change the menu we might have to go find some were else to eat.

Wait staff are super nice and very efficient. The food is fresh and hot with generous servings.

Went in earlier this week. Hopefully it's changed since then, but the owner clearly didn't care about employees wearing masks while they cook and serve food, during a state-wide mandate to do so. It's not surprising, considering the owner of the property. It's just disheartening to see the lack of consideration for our fellow human beings.
